Food Production Operative

12.99 per hour

40 Hours per week 27,123pa.

Shift: Early: 05:45 to 14:15, Mon-Fri .

We are looking for friendly, reliable and hardworking individuals to join our growing and established, BAKER & BAKER manufacturing team.

At our Daventry site, we make cakes and tray bakes, which you may have bought in the supermarkets or eaten whilst visiting leading coffee shops. The role involves working on the production line and ensuring that products are made, cut and packaged to meet Customer requirements, following Health & Safety and food specification instructions.

BAKER & BAKER is a European leader in the bakery convenience segment, with an annual turnover of EUR400 and operating across 12 sites in seven countries.

Skills required:

Previous experience is not essential as training will be given Ability to work within a team and follow instructions Involves high levels of manual handling, i.e. pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting, bending and stretching throughout an 8 hour shift.

This role requires working on the Cake Cutter Machinery, lifting trays of cake.

Basic understanding of food safety principles (desirable)

We interview on site so you can see the factory and ask questions. You must provide a share code if not from the UK.

Due to our location, you will need your own transport.

Not suitable for student visas due to 40 hours per week.
