Production Operatives manufacture and assemble the components that go in various Bowers & Wilkins products. The primary areas of focus for a Production Operative are to ensure that the required quality and quantity expectations are being achieved and that all processes and safe working procedures are adhered to.
This role involves manufacturing product that conforms to the agreed quality and quantity expectation, by adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:
To conform to Standard work & single-piece flow. When working in a non-Standard work environment, the operative should work within the 'local' rules and guidelines as per the departments training.
To be a willing & enthusiastic participant in all 6S activities.
To be proactive in any problem-solving activity within their respective area.
To be an enthusiastic team member that exerts a positive influence on the team.
To have a good record of time keeping and attendance with a responsible attitude to communicating with the company when unable to attend due to unforeseen absence requirements.

To be highly motivated to produce good quality work without loss of production speed.
To be aware of the need to engage in useful work when there is an interruption in production and where possible, to actively minimise the effects of any interruptions.
To follow work process instructions without deviation.
To comply with all health and safety legislation and B&W safe working practices.
To be flexible and adaptable in work assignments.
To support the business as required i.e. Factory Tours, Samples, Trial runs, Data Collection, Feedback etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience of working within manufacturing environments.
Starting hourly rate 12.90.
Additional 15.00 weekly attendance bonus
