Summary

Reporting to the Production Manager, we are seeking a Production Operative to ensure the efficient production of high-quality ropes, cords and braids that meet quality requirements and diverse customer needs.

Responsibilities of a Production Operative:

Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance. Maintain quality control standards throughout the production process. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets. Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment as needed. Document production activities accurately. Assist in training new operators when required.

Requirements to be successful as a Production Operative:

Experience of working within a production process, ideally manufacturing of rope or textiles. Good standard of secondary education (GCSEs or equivalent). Good standard of verbal & written communication. Good command of the English language. Good with numbers. Manual Dexterity. Proactive, process-driven, positive mindset. Able to stand all of the working day and undertake the physical activity requirement of the role. Team player, reinforcer of good habits and high standards. Reliable, dependable and time conscious. Presentable.
Commutable from Bromyard, Droitwich Spa, Evesham, Hereford, Ledbury, Malvern, Pershore, Tewkesbury, Worcester.

Hours / Rate:

Advertised rate reflects starting rate + overtime multiple. Progression and uplift will be based on candidate individual experience and development. Days - 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm, with an unpaid break between 12:30-1:30pm. 15-minute break (paid) am and pm. Nights - 48 hours per week. Monday-Thursday 6 pm - 6.30 am, with an unpaid break of 30 minutes and 2 x 15-minute breaks (paid).
