About the Role:
As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day manufacturing process, helping to ensure products are made to specification, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for operating machinery, handling raw materials and finished products, whilst ensuring the smooth production of aluminium composite panels to balance supply with demand.
This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who are proactive, quality-focused, and keen to work in a busy and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate production machinery, including cutting, extrusion and laminating equipment in accordance with training and safety procedures.
Monitor the manufacturing process to ensure quality and efficiency.
Handle and transport aluminium/steel composite sheets and other raw materials safely.
Conduct basic machine and/or tool maintenance and report any faults or breakdowns.
Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards.
Follow Health and Safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements
Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse or production environment is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and handling materials.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
