Don Controls Ltd is a long established business with a well-earned reputation spanning over more than 70 years for designing and manufacturing high quality Control Panels for industrial use.
Our friendly, family run business based in Yeadon (Leeds) has a vacancy for a full time role of 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
Working within a safe, well organised, and clean environment you will work as part of a team following manufacturing and assembly procedures.
Applicants do not require any specific experience, however, some familiarity of working in a manufacturing environment and using hand tools could prove to be beneficial.
The key aspects of the role are as follows:
- Wire and Cable preparation including Cutting, Stripping and Crimping.
- Assisting with building enclosures.
- Fitting components to backplates.
- General assistance in the production areas to support the Panel Wirers.
The above tasks are the key aspects of the role but, like any other role, it is not possible to specify every single task and requirement of the role and you are required to carry out any reasonable task required of you.
This position might ideally suit a locally based candidate who is keen to develop in the role.
