Type: Permanent - Full Time

Salary: 26,000.00 - 29,000.00 (depending on experience)

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday: 08:00am - 16:30pm - Fridays: 08:00am - 16:00pm

At Granite Planet we supply quality granite, quartz and ultra compact surfaces. This is a superb opportunity to join a highly respected Manufacturer and Fitter of Kitchen Worktops.

The successful candidate will be welcomed into a close team environment and receive full training in all aspects of manufacturing and installation within the company. This is a varied role presenting the opportunity to develop your career in a wide-range of skills, from Manufacturing, templating through to sawing, and fitting.

Starting as soon as possible, the role is based in Honeybourne near Evesham, Worcestershire.

Key responsibilities:

Setting up and operating a variety of machinery.

Troubleshooting at an appropriate level and involving senior members of staff when necessary

Read and interpret technical drawing and work instructions.

Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications.

Visit customers' homes whilst providing a professional fitting service

Worktop templating with precision and accuracy

Comply with Health and Safety regulations and company polices.

Maintaining a consciousness of eliminating waste in the production process

Following internal protocols and standard operating procedures

Demonstrating safe manual handling practices.

Essential Requirements:

Minium 1 years' experience operating computerised machinery.

Full driving licence

Manual handling

Experience:

We are ideally looking for someone with multi-skilled experience in the operation of Manufacturing and fitting of work tops however this is not essential and full training will be given to the candidate displaying the correct attributes. Templating and fitting skills would be an advantage, however experience in trades, property maintenance, working with power tools and general maintenance will be considered.
