There is currently an opportunity within the company for a Production Operative / Foam Technician.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled manufacturer to join our team. The foam technician will be responsible for the production and assembly of foam pipeline pigs used in various industries including oil and gas, wastewater management, and chemical processing. The ideal candidate will have experience working with manufacturing processes and must have a strong attention to detail to ensure the highest quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Tasks:
Operate machinery and equipment involved in the manufacturing process of foam pipe pigs.
Follow production schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing tasks.
Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and follow safety guidelines while operating machinery.
Comply with regulatory requirements and company policies related to manufacturing operations.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct quality checks during the manufacturing process to identify defects and ensure product quality.
Implement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent reoccurrence.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets and objectives.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate workflow and address production challenges.
Assist in training new employees on manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
This is a permanent role subject to a successful 6-month probation period. The company offers very good job stability and opportunity for progression in the future.
