Production Operative (Food Production - Days)

4 on 4 off Shift Pattern, 06:00-18:00

38.5hrs average per week

Cranswick is a leading UK food producer with revenue of over 2 Billion. We produce and supply premium food to high profile UK grocery retailers, the food service sector and other UK and global customers.

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join the production factory team at our Riverside pork facility. This position requires candidates to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to daily targets.

Main Duties Include (but not limited to):

Under the guidance of Senior Line Leaders, ensure that each product specification is followed and any anomalies are reported immediately To ensure that any production targets set by the Shift Manager and Line Leader are met To wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times within the Production Area Carry out training commensurate with the area including regular refresher/update training as and when required To report any equipment defects immediately to the Shift Manager or Line Leader To maintain high levels of work performance including attendance, timekeeping et Contribute to KPIs in quality, health, safety and environment, and yields

What We Look For:

Previous hands-on work experience: production/factory operative (preferred but not essential) Comfortable working in fast-paced environment to daily targets Awareness of importance of food hygiene and safety
