Job Description

Join a busy manufacturing team as a Production Operative specialising in fuel tank production. This hands-on role involves using equipment and machinery, following technical instructions, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality in every task. Fixed and permanent contracts available.



Key Responsibilities

Operate safely and follow all health and safety guidelines at all times. Maintain clean and tidy work areas. Read, understand and work from technical drawings, SOPs and process specifications. Operate RF welders and use adhesives/lacquer to bond components. Prepare, fit, lacquer and stencil tanks, including data recording tasks. Perform manual tasks: lifting, marking up, fitting and assembling components for production. Strip and rebuild jigs, formers, and related equipment as required. Work efficiently as part of a production team.

Candidate Requirements

Experience in manufacturing, production, or similar hands-on environments preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance. Good manual dexterity and physical capability for handling materials/machinery. Able to follow complex instructions and technical documents. Reliable, punctual, and team-minded. Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn new skills. Full-time, site-based role - Monday to Thursday, 07:30-16:15; Fridays, 07:30-16:00
