We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join our team in the manufacturing industry. Our company designs, manufactures and supplies role play products, furniture and resources to the education market. We pride ourselves in providing the highest level of product quality and service to our customers within the UK and abroad.
Full time role 38 hrs per week over 4 days (Mon-Thurs).

Job Summary:
To assist in the manufacturing, assembly, finishing, packaging and despatch of the company's products and be a multi-skilled member of the team carrying out all production processes.
Main duties:
Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards customers, suppliers and other team members, recognising the importance and benefits of effective team working.
Ensure personal protective equipment is worn at all times.
Consistently operate machinery and equipment to high standards in a safe manner with due consideration for personal Health and safety and that of co-workers at all times.
Comply with and follow all agreed working, health and safety practices and procedures.
Ensure all paperwork and supporting control documentation is completed correctly in a timely fashion and submitted to the person directed.
Ensure your work area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Ensure equipment and tools are kept in good and safe working order and are put away in their correct location when necessary.
Assist with the achievement of production targets through efficient performance and minimal wastage.
Function to the best of your ability within the production team, treating other members of staff with dignity and respect. Act with honesty and integrity at all times.
Communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
Follow verbal and written instruction to the best of your ability.
Assist in the training of fellow team members.
Contribute to the development and improvement of the production process.
Carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job and the title of the post as requested by the team leaders, managers and directors.
