? Strap and wrap bales securely for safe storage and transport
? Keep production areas clean and equipment maintained daily
? Operate machinery on the FC and grinding lines
? Drive forklifts (with a valid license)
? Follow health & safety protocols and suggest improvements

About The Role
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect paving products on the production line for defects like cracks, chips, or colour inconsistencies. Follow company procedures to document and report any issues promptly.
Securely strap and wrap bales of paving products to ensure stability during storage and transportation, following safety guidelines and quality standards to prevent damage or movement of goods.
Daily cleaning and maintenance
Perform thorough daily cleaning and housekeeping of production areas, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and ensuring equipment and workspaces are tidy and free from hazards.
Clean mixers, main press machine, and doser equipment daily by removing raw materials, clearing dust and debris, and wiping surfaces to maintain equipment functionality and quality standards. Inspect components and follow all safety procedures during the cleaning process.
Operate the FC line by setting up, monitoring, and adjusting machinery to ensure efficient and continuous production. Follow all safety protocols and quality standards, perform routine checks for proper operation, promptly address minor faults, and report any significant issues to the appropriate personnel.
Gain an understanding of the operation of the grinding line, including setting up the machinery, running production cycles, changing grinding diamonds and stones as needed to maintain product quality and efficiency.
Operate forklifts as required, provided the appropriate license is held.
Ensure that workplace cleanliness is maintained and adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols. Take personal responsibility for your own well-being and promptly report any concerns as required by company policy.
Proactively seek and suggest ideas for improvement--whether related to health and safety, business processes, or cost-saving measures--and report them as a 'Good Catch'.
Any other duties as required by management that are within your capability.
