Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining machinery, assembling components, and ensuring the smooth flow of production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and a keen eye for detail. The role is physically demanding and does involve lifting and bending.

Responsibilities

Operate various production machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures Assist with assembly tasks, ensuring parts are correctly fitted and assembled to specifications Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any faults or irregularities Use hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs Maintain a clean and organised work area to uphold safety standards Support warehouse activities such as stock organisation, inventory checks, and material handling Follow health and safety regulations at all times to minimise risks in the workplace

Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environment is preferred Mechanical knowledge or aptitude is highly desirable Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Experience with assembly processes is advantageous Ability to work well within a team and follow detailed instructions Good organisational skills and attention to detail Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required

This role operated rotation of days and nightshifts, so applicants must be flexible to work both. There is no standards weekend working hours however during busy periods you may be asked to work this is an overtime option.

Pay: 12.21-18.31 per hour
