Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components, carrying out testing and maintaining safety and quality standards within a fast paced production environment.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in production processes and hands-on work within a growing and dynamic organisation committed to excellence.

Responsibilities

Operate various manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring production targets are met. Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and assembly procedures accurately. Assemble components and products according to predefined procedures using hand tools and custom built equipment. Conduct in-process testing of assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications throughout the production process. Perform final testing of fully built products using approved test procedures and equipment. Record and maintain accurate batch information for all parts and materials used during assembly, rework and servicing activities. Ensure full traceability of components and processes by completing required documentation and logs. Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies. Support inventory control activities including stock movement, inventory checks, loading/unloading materials and reporting low stock levels or discrepancies.

Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided. Mechanical knowledge is desirable, including familiarity with hand tools and assembly processes. Experience in assembly or a production/manufacturing setting is considered an asset. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, efficiency and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday: 9:00 - 17:00 Friday: 9:00 - 15:00
Due to the location of the office, a valid driving license and access to a car are highly recommended .
