Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that products are assembled efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.

Duties

Operate various production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks, ensuring proper handling and maintenance. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any mechanical issues or required maintenance. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the training of new staff on production processes and equipment usage as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required. Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
