Job Description
Blachford UK Ltd, part of the global Blachford Acoustics Group, is the leading manufacturer of high quality acoustical and thermal products to the industrial vehicle sector.
Due to current manufacturing demand, we are looking for 2 enthusiastic individuals to join the production facility in Holmewood, Chesterfield.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the production of agricultural and acoustic products that meets specification, in the safest efficient manner with minimal delay.
Brief description of duties:
Carry out day to day production; Manufacture to customer specifications, carrying out final inspection of product to quality standards; Working to Standard Operating Procedures and Process Working Instructions; Reporting any issues that may arise to their team leaders; Acceptance and use of required PPE; Use of lifting equipment and forklift trucks (if applicable); Cleaning and maintain work areas and machinery; Ensuring that production deadlines are met efficiently and safely; Adhering to Company Health and Safety procedures and standards.
To be successful, you must:
Have good practical skills with the ability to follow instruction; Be able to carry out physical and manual procedures; Have strong attention to detail, being able to focus on the job to hand; Ability to work quickly and methodically whilst doing repetitive tasks; Be able to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbal and written forms; Most importantly, be punctual.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.82 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
