Job Description
A well-established company based in Norfolk is looking for a Production Operative to join its production team.
The Company:
KLT Filtration manufacture a range of ceramic water filters and purifiers using specially developed manufacturing techniques and unique ceramic formulas.
The Role:
The purpose of the role is to provide flexible skills to ensure the production of filtration manufacturing runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis. To ensure that product quality standards are met whilst achieving the assigned productivity targets and objectives.
Responsibilities of a successful candidate:
Health and Safety
Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment including wearing correct PPE and proper use of equipment Raise H&S issues in a timely manner Maintain housekeeping standards
Production
Operation and materials handling of ceramic cutting and sanding machinery Achieve assigned productivity targets and objectives Inspection of work in progress and finished goods Assembly and packing of filters Manufacture of slip for use in casting
Quality Management
Follow the prescribed quality procedures, work, test and inspection instructions
Candidate requirements:
Team player Analytical Computer literate Problem-solving skills Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.57 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
