Job Summary


We are seeking a proactive, reliable and positive attitude within a Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly and production processes, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires a strong and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Must have your own transport - we're in a beautiful spot, but not on a public transport route

Duties



Assemble components and products using hand tools and power tools with precision and care. Operate various hand tools and equipment safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specified standards. Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly. For yourself and your colleagues. Assist in inventory management by booking in deliveries and managing stock used during production. Completion of production records through our client's Quality Management System (QMS) and using Excel documentation. Reporting and resolving assembly issues in line with our quality management standards. Packing up freight orders and preparing them for dispatch weekly. Working both as a team and on your own. Some lifting is involved and working on your feet. Supporting with general tasks across the business - if you've got initiative, we'll find plenty to keep you busy!

Skills



Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks. Basic with Hand Solder assembly, preferred but can be trained. Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output in all tasks performed. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. Excellent ability to multitask and prioritise incoming workloads. Excellent communication skills. A solid 'team player' attitude. Good level of IT skills.
