The Role
Working as part of the Operations Team, on a 3-shift rotating pattern, the successful applicant will be highly motivated, focused and driven, demonstrating a positive can do and safe attitude together with excellent self-organisation and motivation skills.
The purpose of the role is to produce cost-effective and high-quality goods to fulfill its clients' requirements and expectations.
We are looking for applicants who are great communicators, the ability to support a drive for continuous improvement in both productivity and reducing waste, maintaining a high-quality standard, whilst fully complying with the site's Health & Safety culture.
Previous experience within a manufacturing process operation is preferred, but full training will be provided. It is expected that Production Operative will be able to train in multiple areas, to assist in building our multi skilled and flexible team.
Key responsibilites:
Adhere to all health and safety standards, promptly reporting any near misses or incidents in line with Company Policy.
Operate according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), ensuring high levels of performance and quality, and report any issues promptly.
Work in accordance with the site's quality standards, performing quality checks as necessary to ensure product integrity.
Carry out first-level maintenance tasks and asset care on designated production areas to maintain equipment functionality.
Participate in competency-based training across various areas of the production process to become multi-skilled and adaptable to different roles.
