Role

We are looking for a Production Operative to join our skilled Brushmaking team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a long-established manufacturer, working with advanced machinery to produce a wide range of commercial, natural, and hygiene brushes.

You will play a key role in ensuring our products continue to meet the high standards our customers expect. While previous experience in operating machinery would be an advantage, it is not essential -- we are happy to provide full training to candidates who are enthusiastic and eager to learn.

Starting salary:

25,776 per annum

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:45pm (early finish Friday at 3:.45pm)

Working week:

39 hours (with a 45-minute unpaid break each day)

Key responsibilities

Operate production machinery safely and efficiently following set-up Load raw materials into the machine as required Inspect finished products to ensure they meet manufacturing tolerances and specification Pack finished products where needed Maintain a clean, safe and organised workstation Report any machine breakdowns, stoppages, or quality issues to your supervisor/manager Accurately record machine activity and production output using computer-controlled systems Work consistently towards production and efficiency targets
