PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
JOB PURPOSE:
To provide a supporting role to all areas of production, performing various roles accurately, safely and securely, meeting production deadlines at all times.
SALARY BAND:
vGroup have a stringent training plan and salary scale for all our Production Operatives based on 4 levels, Bronze Production Operatives (12.21 p.h), Silver Production Operatives (12.50 p.h), Gold Production Operatives (12.87 p.h) and Platinum Production Operatives (13.39 p.h). This is built into a career progression plan which is reviewed intitially after 3 months and every 6 months thereafter.
All new Production Operatives start at Bronze level which is 12.21 per hour. Progression into Silver, Gold and Platinum Production Operative levels are based on performance, length of service and training criteria's.
Bonuses are offered to Gold and Platinum Production Operatives.
Time and a half is paid for hours worked overtime.
HOURS:
Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.
HOLIDAY:
22 Days + Bank Holidays. From 3 years' service to 5 years' service you will gain an additional day holiday capped at 25 days. An additional one days' holiday is issued per annum for Gold graded Production Operatives and an additional two days holiday is issued per annum for Platinum graded Production Operatives.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience in Production/Warehouse/Logistics (Preferred).
Able to work at a fast pace.

Speak and read English to a good level.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
? To perform a number of roles within the warehouse, production and dispatch departments to ensure the factory runs efficiently, meets targets, and complies with company quality standards and procedures.
? To achieve all individual performance standards as agreed.
? To receive, store, produce, and dispatch all stock accurately, securely and safely.
? Minimise and control all waste.
? Carrying out spot checks on quality of goods processed.
? Highlighting any issues to the Production Manager.
? Assist in the maintenance of machinery.
? Continuously seeking to improve the processes of production.
? Implementing any changes as instructed by the Production Manager.
? Logging all errors in our CRM system and notifying the Production Manager.
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Assist in development and promote the culture of continuous improvement, thereby recommending and implementing authorized changes.
? Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
? Maintain good housekeeping of the department including the equipment within it.
? Ensure high standards of conduct, appearance and behavior are met at all times.
? Communicate effectively with all team members, colleagues and management team.
? Participate in the company stock takes when necessary.
In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the jobholder is required to perform any other duty requested by Management from time to time.
