Job Description

R&D Laboratories is seeking to add a long-term team member for the role of Production Operative.

In this role you will assist our small but growing business with a range of production and dispatch related duties. As a Production Operative you will be tasked with helping our Production Manager to fulfil orders and maintain stock levels.

We are currently offering this role as full-time at 40 hours per week however some flexibility can be provided.

Normal working hours are in the period of 8.30 - 5pm Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Filling product from bulk containers into retail packaging (either manually or using semi-automatic filling equipment). Labelling, capping and boxing of product. Preparing goods for shipment Stock control, labelling, and packing orders Receiving and checking incoming stock General warehouse duties and site maintenance Other duties as directed by management
This role will require the employee to be on their feet for the majority of the day. The job will involve moderate amounts of manual handling and some handling of chemicals. Use of air-tools may be required. Training will be provided.

Desirable Additional Skills:

Forklift license Previous COSHH / Chemical Handling experience
Applicants must be able to make their way independently to and from Moira Industrial Estate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
