Role Outline:


We are looking for reliable and motivated Production Operatives to join our busy team. You will be involved in the fabrication of doors and windows in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. This is a hands-on role, where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are key.

Working Hours:



We operate across three fixed shifts to meet business needs, whilst offering flexibility to our team. You will work one set shift pattern

,

totalling 37.5 hours per week:

Sunday to Thursday (22:00pm to 06:00am); Monday to Friday (06:00am to 14:00pm); Monday to Friday (14:00pm to 22:00pm).

Hourly Rate:



We offer competitive rates depending on your shift:

22:00pm - 6:00am: Up to 16.01 6:00am - 14:00pm: Up to 13.54 14:00pm - 22:00pm: Up to 14.08
The hourly rate includes a shift premium, which is paid after completing 7.5 hours on the shift. This also includes a discretionary bonus. Employees on the night shift may be eligible for an additional attendance bonus.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:



Ensure that windows and doors are accurately fabricated by choosing appropriate materials, and then cut, shape and finish Undertake a wide range of manufacturing activities which involves working with window and door components, which may include frames, sashes, glass, glazing, paints, waxes, fitting hardware and assembly Use a range of hand tools and machinery, which may include mallets, chisels and drill drivers Use jigs (as required) Use a tape measure and other measuring equipment (as required) Ensure that the Company's high standards and targets are achieved on a daily basis Adhere to the Company's safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. This includes using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and following procedures for handling materials and operating machinery Communicate (and where possible, address) any issues that may arise during the fabrication process such as material defects and design challenges

Good numeracy skills Good attention to detail Ability to work to reasonable instructions and meet tight deadlines (accurately and quickly) Confident team player prepared to be flexible to meet both team and shift requirements Ability to communicate clearly at all levels
