Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated Production Operators to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the build of specialized items as per the customer requirements, specifically bespoke wire & cable harness assemblies, electromechanical products, harsh environment fibre optic assemblies and supportive products for the defence, aerospace, security, marine, rail, motorsport / niche automotive markets.

Main Tasks:

Cutting and stripping of wires Crimp and solder terminations Handling and application of electronic components Handling and application of heat shrink products and associated adhesives Understanding of production drawings and documentation for wire/harness / electromechanical products Ability to read and follow documented build procedures Ability to follow in house procedures - Process Control Request (PCR) Attrition recording/monitoring - Stores Request Form FN52 Flexibility to cover other assembly roles in the department when needed. Use of Progress Plus software - for logging job/time management

Requirements:

IPC620 Class 3 experience preferred Excellent attention to detail Good communication and organisation skills Ability to accept constructive feedback and have the attitude to strive for continuous improvement Flexibility within the department
