Production Operatives

on a Full Time, Temporary basis across the factory production line. Due to an increase in production schedules to meet customer orders across the UK and Ireland, a number of new vacancies are available.

These are Full Time, Temporary positions only, working a minimum of 45 hours per week. Retention for a Permanent position is a possibility, dependant on demand and performance. Applicants must be 18 years of age and over.

Salary

Production Operative, starting from 12.21 per hour.

What your job is all about:

Working for a FMCG Company, you will prepare and package Mash Direct food products, working to a busy schedule.

JOB DUTIES:

- Operate machinery

- Prepare and peel vegetables for production

- Manual handling of prepared goods

- Weighing and quality checking product lines

- Meeting time and wastage targets

- Assisting with product trials and traceability

- Basic clean down of machinery

- Follow Health and Safety guidelines and standard operating procedures

WORK HOURS

The regular working hours are based on a 45 hour working week, working 5 over 6 days per week, Monday - Saturday.

Departments within production follow the below

approximate

schedule;

Low Risk

: 5am - 3pm (60 mins break)

High Care & Cooked

: 6am - 5pm (60-120 mins break)

Sleeving

: 7am - 5pm (60 mins break)

Despatch

: 8:30am - 6:30pm (60 mins break)

Frozen PM

: 5pm - 3am (60 mins break)

Applicants must be 18 years and over, eligible to work in the UK, have a basic level of English (written & spoken) and a level of physical fitness to work in the factory.

Previous experience in a production environment is an advantage but not essential, as full training is available by in house trainers.
