Production Operatives
on a Full Time, Permanent basis across the factory production line. Due to an increase in production schedules to meet customer orders across the UK and Ireland, a number of new vacancies are available.
These are Full Time, Permanent positions, working 45 hours per week with a premium rate (110%) paid on 46 hours and above.
Applicants must be 18 years of age and over with a good command of spoken and written English.
Salary :
Production Operative, tiered from 12.21 per hour.

What your job is all about:
Working for a FMCG Company, you will prepare and/or package Mash Direct food products, working to a busy schedule.
Job Duties may include:
- Preparing and peeling vegetables for production
- Manual handling of prepared goods
- Operating machinery
- Weighing and quality checking product lines
- Sealing products
- Meeting wastage targets
- Sleeving porducts
- Basic clean down of machinery
- Following Health and Safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
WORK HOURS
The regular working hours are based on a 45 hour working week, working 5 over 6 days per week, Monday - Saturday.
Departments within production follow the below
approximate
schedule;
Low Risk
: 5am - 3pm
High Care & Cooked
: 7am - 6pm
Sleeving
: 7am - 5pm
Despatch
: 8:30am - 6:30pm
Frozen PM
: 5pm - 3am

Applicants must be 18 years and over, eligible to work in the UK, have a level of English (written & spoken) and a level of physical fitness to work in the factory.
Previous experience in a production environment is an advantage but not essential, as full training is available by in house trainers.
