We are seeking to recruit self-starting, proactive individuals who are keen to learn and develop new skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast paced global food ingredients manufacturer, therefore, you will be comfortable working at pace, be target driven and have the ability to meet deadlines. You will be responsible for mixing and packing dry ingredients using both automated and manual packing lines, so you will need to be physically fit and able to lift bags up to 25kg.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in the food industry. You will have a good understanding of health and safety in the workplace and an awareness of basic food hygiene.
The Role
Ensure Good Manufacturing Code of Practice and product protection practices are followed at all times, including hygiene duties as directed by your Supervisor. To carry out and adhere to the company standards of process, quality, hygiene and HACCP. Also ensuring accurate documentation is completed. Carry out all tasks in accordance with safe working practices and systems of work and accept any new instructions or training regarding all safety issues, as highlighted by the Production Supervisor/Manager. To achieve targeted outputs specific to your role.
