Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced efficiently, to a high standard, and on time.

Responsibilities

Accurately fill bean bags with appropriate materials (e.g. polystyrene bead, foam) to specified weight and firmness Assemble and shape bean bags by hand and using tools ensuring consistency in appearance and quality while also consider customer specifications Operate filling machines and hand tools safely and effectively Conduct quality control checks to ensure all products meet company standards Pack and label finished products ready for shipping/storage Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the production area Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of materials Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment Report any machinery issues or product defects promptly and effectively

Experience

Proven mechanical knowledge, with a strong understanding of assembly processes. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential for this role. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, particularly in a production setting. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. The role will be based in Ossett, West Yorkshire, however the successful candidate will be required to attend a 2 week training course based in Nottingham at the beginning of their employment ;all travel expenses will be covered by the business.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
