Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. The position of a Production Operative is an entry level position and therefore does not require particular experience or qualification as full training will be identified and provided whilst on the job. To work directly within the workshop on individual tasks and assist other Sheetmetal Workers as part of a team effort to manufacture components which form the basis of our company products. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to high-quality product output.

Responsibilities

Operating Fastner Press (PEM) - Peming of Components Operating Powder coating equipment - Painting of components Operating Hand-held tools & measuring equipment's Performing basic quality checks of components. Assisting Sheetmetal workers - de-burring parts and materials and organising parts. Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines. Adhering to Health & Safety Requirements and standards. Assisting with other operations within the business as and when required such as Assembly.

Qualifications

Proven basic experience with mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment Full Driving Licence Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required Basic understanding of health and safety practices within a manufacturing setting Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Folk Lift Truck Licence desirable but not essential

Pay: 24,761.88-26,000.00 per year
