Purpose of Role
: To undertake associated production tasks to manufacture our product range which includes Roof trusses, Spandrel panels, I-Joists, Metal web joists and Cassette floors. The products produced at each site is dependent on location.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
The post holder will be required to undertake a variety of activities involved in the complete process of manufacturing our timber-based product range. This may also include assisting other team members with cutting timber and movement of stock around the site. This will include manual handling, assembling and packaging for delivery.
The manufacturing process is assisted by utilising single and multi-blade saws, presses, routers, and nail guns.
The duties described are not exhaustive, and you may be required to undertake any other reasonable duties as required by your manager, this is likely to include being trained in multi-disciplined areas.
Skills
:
Ability to interpret and work from drawings / cutting lists unaided
Good numerical and measuring skills
Experience:
Warehouse/ production experience preferable
Use of hand tools
