Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties

Assisting welders to complete jobs on time and to a high quality finish. Operating machinery to assist with prep of materials (in line with appropriate training given as required, on saws, drills etc..) Use of production manufacturing machinery and equipment, such as band saws, drills, forming machine, grinders etc. to prepare steel materials for fabrication. Keeping all working areas clean and tidy. Checking for damaged stock and reporting any damage to production manager. Any other reasonable request to suit the needs of the business as and when required.

Qualifications and Skills

Able to work on own initiative and effectively work within the factory team. May have experience working with metal fabrication equipment. Experience working within a fabrication environment preferred. Full UK Driving Licence advantage Holds Counterbalance Forklift Licence advantage Awareness of H&S procedures

Full-time, Permanent

Salary:

12.21 per hour

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 17:00, Friday 8:00 - 14:00
