Production Operative

At Rex Ltd we convert panel vans of any make, model, shape or size and produce temperature-controlled vehicles to a wide variety of users from small local businesses to large dealerships and anything in between to meet their specifications. We pride ourselves on manufacturing high quality vehicles to our users and thrive on opportunities to develop, insulate, and install temperature-controlled units to specialised vehicles.

Due to continued growth and high demand for our services the company is now looking to recruit a suitable candidate to join our team.

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Operative to join our team.

The duties include but are not limited to the following:

Operating a range of machinery, battery-powered tools, and hand tools Assembling and installing insulated panels and components into vehicles Working as part of a team to create bespoke, customer-specific solutions Delivering a high standard of work whilst ensuring deadlines are met Supporting a variety of projects and vehicles throughout the production process Securing components to vehicles Ability to read and understand vehicle specifications and CAD drawings Using sealants and adhesives to complete vehicle finishes Working across various projects and vehicles throughout the production process Quality checking completed work Comply with all Health & Safety requirements and standards

Skills and Experience:

Ability to work to deadlines Confident working independently Ability to use a variety of tools Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Willingness to learn new skills Correct use of PPE Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Responsibility for maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace

Salary:

27,040 to 33,280 subject to experience

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 16:15

Friday 07:00 to 13:30
