Job Description

Since formation in 1976, Trackwork has developed to become one of the UK's leading providers of construction and engineering services to the rail network.

Trackwork is a manufacturer of permanent way materials and this combined with our extensive track installation expertise, our experienced workforce and our fleet of road rail vehicles allows us to deliver contracts safely, on time and cost effectively. Due to an upturn in work we are now looking to recruit Production Operatives based in Wallasey.

The type of work carried out in the factory includes:

Automated and non-automated conveyor production lines; Press Work (mechanical power presses & brake presses); CNC punch presses and machining centres; Welding & Fabrication; General engineering - saws, drills etc; General labourer.

Requirements

A background in engineering would be beneficial but not a necessity as on the job training will be provided. Experience of using a Fork Lift Truck or Side Loader is desirable.

Hours: 40 hour week - 08.00 to 16.30 - Monday to Friday.
