As a well-established organisation specialising in Baked and Chilled goods for a number of major retailers and due to expanding business, we are looking for Production Operatives in our Warehouse Department. The ideal candidate(s) will come from a manufacturing background in food production; however, we offer a training programme that will get you up to speed in no time.

As a Production Operative in our Warehouse, you will be responsible for

Accurately picking ingredients as per departmental requirements and transferring into the area in a timely manner. Working within quality targets, ensuring waste reduction and improved consistency of product safety and quality Ensuring that all products are handled in line with Company procedures. Maintaining high standards of hygiene and housekeeping at all times. Assisting in maintaining procedures and practices to comply with BRC standards. Fork Lift Truck operations (where certified) Stock rotation. Keeping warehouse clean, tidy and clutter free and ensuring bins are empty. Observing strict standards of Health & Safety. Keeping yard clean & tidy. Dealing with drivers and operating as Banksman (full training will be given)
Assisting in other areas of the Factory where required

You will help and support your fellow colleagues, whilst building good working relationships. We pride ourselves on having a safe working environment and we would therefore expect all employees to follow Health and Safety policies and procedures including the reporting of accidents and near misses. You will also ensure that all paperwork and traceability records are accurately recorded.
