Job Overview:



We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Operative to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely production of our high-quality components while adhering to stringent industry standards and fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:



Production Workflow Management: Work against detailed production plans to ensure timely and accurate manufacturing of orders, meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Rubber Component Manufacturing: Operate compression and injection moulding machinery to produce precision rubber components. Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork, including works orders and engineering change notes, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality standards. Tooling Maintenance: Clean, inspect, and maintain production tooling to ensure optimal performance and readiness for manufacturing processes. Quality Assurance: Monitor output to ensure all products meet exacting quality standards and specifications. 5S Compliance: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment by adhering to 5S procedures and promoting continuous improvement. Machine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and perform scheduled machine checks, promptly reporting any issues to the Production Manager. Collaboration: Work closely with the Production Manager and Operations Director to address challenges, seek advice, and implement process improvements.

Requirements:



Manufacturing Experience: Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing, particularly within the aerospace sector. Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks, manage workloads effectively, and ensure adherence to tight deadlines. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve production challenges efficiently. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with quality management systems, health and safety regulations, and aerospace manufacturing standards. Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining the highest levels of quality and precision in all tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-26,500.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
