The Role
We are looking for a Production Operative to support all aspects of our production and recycling operations. You will play a hands-on role in loading and unloading materials, operating machinery, maintaining housekeeping standards, and supporting the Production Team Leader to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
This is a varied role requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate recycling and production equipment in line with SOPs and procedures
Support loading and unloading of materials and general site housekeeping
Transfer between different production roles as required
Complete visual safety checks before operating equipment
Monitor machinery to optimise running conditions
Support the Production Team Leader with shift updates and continuous improvement activities
Identify, weigh, record, and correctly dispose of regrind and waste streams
Accurately record production weights and complete documentation
Support initiatives to minimise waste and improve housekeeping standards
What We're Looking For
Essential:
FLT Counterbalance licence
1-2 years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Ability to work flexibly across multiple areas of the production process
Ability to work 4 on 4 off rotation of days/nights 5:45am-6pm / 5:45pm-6am
