Job description



We are looking for a Refrigeration Production Operative to join our team! This is a great opportunity to work in a growing manufacturing company.

The role is responsible for the wiring and assembly of our refrigeration products using a variety of tools and equipment, according to the required specifications.

Responsibilities:



Work as a team to achieve customer quality, delivery, and cost requirements.

Ability to read, interpret, and follow design electrical diagrams, technical drawings and schematics, specifications and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.

Use handheld tools safely as well as the use and safe operation of electrical equipment where trained and/or qualified.

Maintain inventory of product in workstations - follow allocated works and job packs and complete on time as instructed.

Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards prior to testing.

Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation or report when defects are identified.

Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes or instructions given.

Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.

Keep the workstation and surrounding area clean and tidy.

Minimise waste to control costs.

Experience:



Previous experience in a production environment.

Wiring Skills are advantageous but not essential.

Assembly Skills are advantageous but not essential.

Good time management skills i.e. ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks.

Manual handling experience.

Excellent teamwork and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Articulate and able to express themselves clearly in spoken and written English.

Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Ability to follow instructions and follow quality standards.
