Production Operative

to join our growing team and support various sections of our factory. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for manufacturing and machinery, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

:

Operate machinery such as extruders, granulators, and pallet wrapping machines, following SOPs. Conduct quality checks and complete documentation to ensure products meet standards. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimise downtime. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies. Provide flexible support across the factory, including covering breaks and absences as needed.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

:

Volume of products manufactured within specified timeframes. Compliance with product quality standards and minimisation of defects or rejections. Effective use of machinery, maximising operational efficiency and minimising downtime.

Requirements

:

A valid

Counterbalance FLT License

is DESIRABLE. Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with machinery operation and quality control. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality. Flexibility to work on a rotating shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights), 4 ON 4 OFF. A proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent teamwork skills.

with an additional

2,500 per annum shift allowance

Pay: From 12.35 per hour rising to 13.50 per hour after 12 week probation period. with opportunity for further progression
