We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our clients manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, handling materials efficiently, and ensuring smooth workflow within the facility. Duties
Operate various production machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to standard operating procedures.
Handle materials using appropriate methods, including loading and unloading goods.
Perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
Manage shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and update records accurately.
Assist with forklift operation where qualified, supporting movement of heavy or bulky items.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety standards.
Support the maintenance of a clean and organised workspace, complying with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience in warehouse management systems, shipping & receiving, or similar environments.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs on equipment.
Experience with materials handling, including load & unload procedures.
Forklift certification is preferred; however, training can be provided for suitable candidates.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and inventory management.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the shift.
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key.

Working hours for this role are Monday to Friday - 7am to 4pm.
