Contact Attachments is looking for a motivated and reliable
Production Operative
to join our busy manufacturing team. This role involves assisting in the production and assembly of high-quality forklift truck attachments in a fast paced but rewarding environment.Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate horizontal bandsaws and pillar drills. Cut and drill components to the required specifications. Carry out quality checks and assist with stock control, reporting any issues to the supervisor. Load and unload deliveries (FLT licence advantageous). Working alongside the dispatch team to prepare attachments for shipping. Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area while following company and Health & Safety procedures.
Requirements
Experience operating bandsaws and pillar drills. Strong practical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
Job Type
Full time - 39 hours per week
o Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-4:00pm (30 minute lunch)
o Friday: 7:00am-12:00pm
