PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Production Operative Job Purpose/ Role

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting products to ensure that we deliver the highest quality possible to all our customers. You must maintain a safe and efficient work area, this will include having a heightened awareness for health and safety, and be an active participant in our continuous improvement scheme.

Production Operative Duties & Responsibilities.

Comply with all company Health and Safety policies and procedures Assist your Floor Leaders to set up the room for production runs Follow instructions given by packing specs and your Floor Leaders Have the ability to keep up with a fast-paced team and production standards Handle production room equipment safely Participate in continuous improvement activities Maintain a clean and orderly workplace Be proactive in ensuring the integrity of the food safety and food quality systems through reporting and prevention Comply with the Company's requirement for the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Maintain high levels of personal hygiene Ability to work any shift if requested Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by Floor Leaders

Production Operative Requirements & Skills

You must be willing to work any shift assigned; manufacturing experience desirable but not essential; a good skill level of English is crucial for Health and Safety purposes; good verbal communication; team player; self-starter; adaptable to change; ability to prioritise needs.

PLEASE NOTE

: Though we allow for people to wear their own clothes, we have strict health & safety procedures to avoid cross-contamination risks. We do NOT allow for jewellery, watches, rings, earrings, nail varnish or false eyelashes to be worn on the production floor.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 2-3 months

Pay: 12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
