Job Description
Our client, Hoya Lens UK, is a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of optical lenses. They are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their busy team in Wrexham on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a successful, dynamic company with excellent prospects.
Prepare and pack finished lenses for dispatch, ensuring the correct and secure packaging for customers
Check lenses for any defects, ensuring only high-quality products are released
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, following health and safety guidelines
Work with the wider operations team to ensure a smooth workflow
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and report any accidents or near misses
Keep accurate records and complete necessary documentation
Work rotating shifts, including days and afternoons
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment essential
Ability to lift and carry up to 20kg
Good attention to detail
Team player
Flexible approach to work
Willingness to work rotating shifts
