Overview

Are you hands-on, reliable, and ready to be part of a growing family business? We're looking for a Production Operative to join us at HeatBriqs, where we produce high-quality firewood briquettes from our own sawmilling co-product.

The ideal candidate will possess some mechanical aptitude and experience in a warehouse environment, with the ability to operate machinery. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Duties

Operate production machinery and equipment effectively. Assemble packs and pallets of firewood briquettes according to specifications and quality standards. Quality control and general maintenance. Meet production targets and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise. Document production activities accurately for quality control purposes.

Requirements

You would be required to load hoppers with raw material. Telehandler and Forklift experience is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to use own initiative when required. Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and schedules. A proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
No previous experience in briquette production needed -- just a good work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Full training will be provided.
