Impact Recycling is an innovative technology company focussed on tackling hard to recycle plastics waste, reclaiming pure, clean, recyclable material and producing feedstock for recycled consumer products

Impact Recycling are looking for new talent to join our small but rapidly expanding business!!!

ShiftWork : 6am-2PM and 2pm-10PM with overtime requirement during busy periods, ocassionally including weekends when needed



Impact Recycling : We recycle all items of clean plastic, through our unique process. Our Process entails using Telehandler and FLT to move around plastics, finished goods etc and to supply our process, where our operators monitor our machinery for Quality and Breakdowns being reported back to the Team Leader and Supervisor etc

Production Operative



Shifts: 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm

with overtime required during busy periods

Reporting to - Compounding Team Leader or Supervisor

The production operative -Traits



The role is one which requires attention to detail, team work. The role is a pivotal position ensuring high levels of equipment operation and reliability. We are looking for someone who can work under pressure, meet deadlines, think on their feet with a flexible approach to, when needed, go that extra mile in a dynamic environment.



Area of Responsibility - To operate, monitor and assist with Pelletizing operation, production quality monitoring and material movement.



Duties:



Safety



Ensure at all times you operate in a way which does not put at risk personnel or equipment on site. Adhere to the appropriate Health and Safety rules associated with the shop floor and wear the appropriate supplied PPE.



Primary



Responsible for the operation and monitoring of the Erema Compounding machine. To learn the machine characteristics to enable correct running and precise adjustments during operation. To understand quality control of the product and ensure records are filled in correctly and up to date, transport material around site in a safe and organised manner and prepare finished product for collection



Secondary



Secondary activities will include.



Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the machine.



Assist with incoming and outgoing products.

Essential Attributes

.Display good congitive ability e.g. Problem solving, spatial awareness, ability to learn and retain information etc.



FLT Licence desirable but not required as training will be provided for the right candidate



Desirable Attributes



Ability to work unsupervised.



Experience working within a factory environment.



Experience in machine operation.

Basic polymer knowledge



Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
