Role Overview:



You will be responsible to assemble/press/wash components to manufacture of aerosol valves, cans and components using automated production equipment within the Component Manufacturing Facility (CMF)/valve assembly department, maintaining a safe working environment and GMP standards.



You will be expected to adhere to all site regulations, working safely and complying with all company safe working practices and procedures.



The Operator role will predominantly be based in valve assembly/CMF however, duties may also include supporting the other department when required.



Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



Carry out safety checks and maintain a high standard of safety and housekeeping, reporting/highlighting issues. Ensure all production targets are met and accurately recorded through the department OEE reporting system. Complete paperwork in real time, accurately and legibly in line with the company GMP procedures/policy. Carry out safety checks and maintain a high standard of safety and housekeeping. Report all quality issues to the production/group leader immediately. Ensure a thorough and effective daily handover to include current setup/running status, using the Tier 1 process. Adopt and practice the company's PRECISE values. Department expectations to be adhered to continuous monitoring of machines during production. Working to specific and detailed written instructions. Supporting internal and external audits including BSI and Groundworks.

Skills & Experience:



Previous experience working within a Component Manufacturing Facility (CMF). Previous experience operating Pressing Platarg machines is desirable. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to read technical drawings and follow SOPs. Good understanding of GMP. Grade C/Level 4 Maths. Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Information:



Working Hours:

37.5hrs per week



Shift Patterns:

06:00 to 14:00 and 13.45 to 21:45, and evening shifts operating at 21:30 to 06:30. This includes 2x 15-minute paid breaks and 1x 30-minute unpaid break.

Up Brooks, Clitheroe
