Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
1. To deburr components using appropriate tooling and methods ready for next stage processing.
2. Carry out manual and mechanical surface preparing operations.
3. Carry out cleaning operations e.g. degreasing of components.
4. To identify and repair possible defects.
5. To control and complete all relevant documentation and to ensure that traceability is maintained.
6. To ensure components are processed in accordance to demand and within defined timescales.
7. To maintain control and traceability and functionality of tooling.
8. To maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all times in order to ensure safety standards are met.
9. To observe COSHH regulations and company procedures at all times in order that safety levels may be maintained.
10. To carry out any other reasonable task as may be requested from time to time in order to support the function of the department.
About you.
Reasonable general education with an aptitude for maths an advantage. No background experience necessary.
Must be alert and aware to ensure product flow and quality are maintained.
Reasonable degree of concentration required plus good hand-to-eye co-ordination while carrying out intricate work.
