Production Operator - Night Shift

6pm-12am 14.04 per/hr. - 12am-4am 15.87 per/hr plus 1.50 per/hr Bonus

Monday - Thursday 6pm - 4am (Night Shift)

Production Operator to join our Night Team working Monday - Thursday 6pm - 4am (Night Shift)

The Job

To carry out various tasks in our busy warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating pipe production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment directly to management.

Key responsibilities will include:

Operating specialty machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move pipe. Maintain and monitor machine to make sure it functions properly. Understanding of how operated machine works. Carry out basic quality checks and testing checks. Ensure adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as required. Monitor the production process. Store goods and raw materials properly in warehouse. Maintain work areas and equipment.

Selection Criteria/Person Specification

Essential

Reliable, good time keeping and a 'Can Do' attitude is a must. Good communication skills and organisational skills. Strong work ethic. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Able to work on foot for extended periods of time.

Desirable

Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment but not essential. Some mechanical experience or aptitude.
