Overview

In line with the continued growth of our business, we are looking to recruit an additional production operator.

This is a full-time position 5 days per week including Saturday (day off in the week can be agreed with successful candidate) , based at our Northwich factory for the next 3 months then moving to our new factory on Winsford Industrial Estate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for packing a variety of products from small tools to complex large foam orders. Experience in this kind of packaging environment would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will also need to learn all elements of the production process. This includes using the production IT system, operating bandsaws, foam balers and CNC cutting machines. Experience in CNC operation, and a good competency in IT systems would be advantageous.

The successful candidate needs good communication and organisation skills, problem-solving skills, be health and safety conscious and have a professional approach to dealing with other colleagues and visitors.

Key Duties:

Packing orders

Using the in-house IT system to create order documentation.

Use the CNC cutting machines to produce toolbox inserts and custom sheets.

Cutting foam on the bandsaw.

Make foam bales for recycling.

Carry out stock taking activities.

Helping with unloading container deliveries.

Package summary:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,000 - 26,000 per year

Expected hours: 37.5 per week (Monday, Wednesday to Saturday)
