Our Client are looking to recruit Production Operatives to be a huge part of our operation and work across every area of the plant undertaking a variety of crucial tasks to maintain our high standards. You will be part of a busy team working to assist in the manufacture of food products to the established standards of safety, output, quality, and hygiene.Your Time at Work
xc2xb7 Work safely at all times in accordance with company Health & Safety policies, procedures, practices and legislation to correctly prepare packaging for food products with respect to container, label and coding.
xc2xb7 Carry out cleaning schedules in the production and packaging area ensuring a very high standard of hygiene / sanitation is achieved, in addition, placing emphasis on the Factory's "clean as you go" policy.
xc2xb7 Store, feed, mix, blend, extrude, and package food products as appropriate, ensuring high standards of good manufacturing practice.
xc2xb7 Pack / metal detect, inspect, products and established standards of weight control.
xc2xb7 Palletise, wrap and label finished goods as required.
xc2xb7 To complete to the established standard all relevant process / food safety documentation.
xc2xb7 To bring to the attention of your Team Leader any discrepancies in materials, operating machinery or final product.
xc2xb7 To support in other departments as required in relation to manpower deployment, holiday and absence cover.
xc2xb7 To ensure food safety, legality and quality requirements are met at all times.
xc2xb7 To carry out any reasonable duty as requested by Production Management.Our Perfect Worker
xc2xb7 Previous experience in food manufacturing would be desirable but not essential.
xc2xb7 All basic training will be provided, however, good numeric and computer skills are an advantage.
xc2xb7 Ability to work well within a team environment - with good communication skills.
xc2xb7 Results focused to ensure that all targets are met.
xc2xb7 Strong communications skills, verbal and written.
xc2xb7 Self-motivated and uses initiative.
xc2xb7 Strong team player who adopts continuous improvement approach.
