Evans Vanodine is excited to introduce a new opportunity for a Production People Leader to join the team. This pivotal role will focus on driving a positive workplace culture across our Production & Manufacturing teams whilst ensuring full compliance with H&S and HR standards and policies.

This role supports operational efficiency through people - not processes. Reporting to the Production Manager, the focus will be on behaviour, standards and performance, ensuring the team is supported to deliver on production goals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain accurate attendance and overtime records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Manage absence, performance and conduct processes, ensuring thorough investigations and fair, consistent handling of disciplinary and grievance meetings. Implement the performance management framework across all teams, conducting regular one-to-ones and ensuring individual and team targets are met. Collaborate with Production Manager and Training Officer to identify, arrange and coordinate training including Health & Safety and job-specific training. Act as primary point of contact for conflict resolution, facilitating early intervention and coaching to maintain positive working relationships. Provide coaching, guidance and support to supervisory team on people management skills and best practice. Manage administration of temporary workers, and support recruitment and selection of permanent employees in collaboration with the Production Manager. Ensure compliance with H&S standards and processes across Production, supporting the H&S department where required. Oversee the issue and tracking of Personal Protective Equipment, ensuring stocks are properly maintained and recorded. Conduct and review Production risk assessments, ensuring they remain current and compliant.

Experience & Qualifications

Experience in a production or manufacturing environment in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Level 4 ILM/CMI or equivalent in Leadership & Management. Good working knowledge of HR practices, employment law and health and safety regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office and general IT skills. Excellent communication skills across all levels of the hierarchy. Positive, proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Monday - Thursday: 7am - 4:30pm

Total: 36 hours per week
