Purpose of the Role



The Production Planner will own the planning, coordination, and control of all manufacturing and outbound logistics activity at the Naturewall panel processing site. This includes production scheduling, resource planning, transport coordination, and quality assurance.

This is a pivotal role ensuring that every order -- from trade and e-commerce -- flows seamlessly through production, with the right materials, labour, and transport in place.

Key Responsibilities



Production Planning & Scheduling



Create, maintain and communicate the daily and weekly production plans for all lines to the Production Manager Balance labour, machine capacity, and order priorities to achieve OTIF (On Time In Full) targets in partnership with Production Manager. Translate sales orders and demand forecasts (trade and e-commerce) into clearly visible production batches / manufacturing orders on the ERP. Support the Production Manager on driving executional efficiency and CI activity to improve plan deliverability Maintain visibility of WIP and lead times, ensuring internal and external stakeholders are informed.

Material & Supply Coordination



Liaise with procurement team to ensure all raw materials, consumables, and packaging are available in advance of planned production with suitable contingency. Track material readiness and communicate any shortages, substitutions, or supply risks v plan. Maintain accurate batch tracking and stock reporting for manufacturing material consumption & BOM analysis. Work with the Procurement and Finance team to improve RM stock level accuracy, reduce waste, and ensure FIFO discipline.

Transport & Logistics



Coordinate and oversee outbound transport for trade and e-commerce orders, using a mix of private couriers, pallet networks, and national carriers. Monitor and report on transport performance, service issues and claims.

Operational Control & Quality



Support Production Manager in maintaining high production quality and first-pass yield. Identify and escalate process issues or inefficiencies working with the Production Manager to drive continuous improvement in quality and service.

Performance & Reporting



Own daily/weekly performance reporting: plan accuracy, OTIF, labour utilisation, yield, waste, and material readiness. Contribute to monthly operational review meetings with clear data, insights and actions. Support cross-departmental alignment between Operations, Commercial, and Finance.

Experience & Skills Required



Minimum 3+ years' experience in

production planning / manufacturing coordination.

Experience coordinating

transport / logistics

(pallet networks, private couriers, or national carriers). Proven track record of improving planning accuracy, material flow, and OTIF. Strong Excel or ERP/MRP system skills; confident interpreting data and communicating clearly. Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment. Excellent communicator -- able to work cross-functionally between shop floor, office, and leadership.

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
